Benton County Master Gardener Hotline 2010
We’ve done the best we could to try to plug members into the dates using the parameters requested. However, we are human (believe it or not!) and we make mistakes! If you find yourself in a date or time that conflicts with your schedule, please switch with someone or otherwise find a replacement. Please do not call, email or otherwise inform the President or Vice-President, as we have already gone white-headed or bald trying to organize this list in the first place. Some successful ways of finding replacements in the past have been to 1) send an email asking for someone to cover or switch with you; 2) ask someone at the next meeting (if you know of your conflict ahead of time); or 3) call a member you know will likely switch with you. Please, please do not simply fail to show up.
Time slots are from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We have plugged members into time slots according to their preferences as best we could, as follows:

New Members

Seven times; paired with their Mentor at least on their first time*.

Seasoned (not “old,” mind you…) members
|
Three times if responded to the request to participate in Hotline;
None if did not respond, unless member is a Mentor, then once with the Mentee’s first time at Hotline*;
More often if stated a preference for such.

*Mentors – if you are unable to serve one time for Hotline with your Mentee, please either obtain a seasoned member for your replacement or show up for a few moments and visit with your Mentee, showing them what to do and where things are located in the Resource Room. For those who did wish to be paired several times, please note that we had several Mentors and Mentees who had conflicting time preferences; we have tried to accommodate as best we can. Thanks.
